    Tangitu Whanau Trust Tangihanga Grants

    The Tangitu Whanau Trust Tangihanga grants are available to the whanau of the deceased who is a beneficial owner or descendant of an owner as per the latest compiled list of owners from the Laori Land Court.  The grant is for up to $500.

    Potaua & Riapeti Tangitu Education Grants

    The Tangitu Whanau Trust Education Grant is available to all students enrolled in a New Zealand tertiary institution.  Grants range in value from $100 for certificate level study, to $5,000 for masters and doctorate level.

    Pirirakau Mick Tangitu Sports & Cultural Grants

    The purpose of the Tangitu Whanau Trust Sports and Cultural fund is to provide financial support for Owners, their children or Mokopuna, competing in an event, or representing their school in a regional, national or international event or competition.  

    The Sports and Cultural policy provides funding (based on the level of representation) between $100 and $500, depending on the event and the associated costs.

    One application per year is permitted.
